This is a good move for google. Not sure if they will be able to catch Groupon or LivingSocial but they certainly have the users and money to do so.
Turn Off Buzz Completely

It's about time. I was using the GV Mobile Free app on my iPhone until apple blocked it. The new HTML5 Browser based app is super nice. I'm now one step closer to using Google Voice exclusively.
